Have you managed Manufacturers reps in a territory for Belden, Paige, AVCostar, Hanwah, Commend, Superior Essex, LeGrand, Wattstopper, or similar companies? If so, this could be the right opportunity for you!

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to grow and expand our manufacturer representative network. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding MHT’s representative agencies across the country.

Candidate must be able to penetrate and increase existing accounts through strong contacts with architects, engineers, property owners and developers.

The right candidate will have a track record of managing large, complex partner relationships and the ability to turn those relationships into profitable revenue streams for the company. Candidate should have experience in lighting controls and/or IoT devices. We are looking for self-starters that are focused, performance driven and committed to long-term success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic territory business plans for each partner
  • Maintain and grow existing top line sales with key accounts in the region
  • Perform direct selling by engaging with account decision makers
  • Generate new business opportunities through existing contacts
  • Utilize a consultative selling techniques and skills to engage customers
  • Differentiate the MHT’s product portfolio by promoting its unique focus on advanced technologies
  • Provide Management with periodic reports pertaining to forecasts and sales pipeline
  • Suggest and attend industry conferences to promote the MHT Brand
  • Work with the internal sales team to develop segment-based marketing strategies & sales programs

Candidate Requirements:

  • 7-10 Years experience with successfully managing similar rep networks
  • 3-5 Years of recent lighting controls or IoT product sales
  • Experience in working with Owners, architects, lighting designers and engineers.
  • A strong background and understanding of Lighting and controls specification, OEM and distribution sales
  • Develop strategic territory business plans for each partner
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be results oriented.
  • 75% travel is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
