As we close out Q3 and move into the final stretch of 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we’ve made this quarter and what it means for the future of smart buildings.
To our customers, partners, and team members: thank you for your continued trust and collaboration. Together, we’re shaping a new standard for intelligent infrastructure.
Introducing the Inspextor Core Node
This quarter, we launched the new Inspextor Core Node—our most advanced Power over Ethernet (PoE) hardware yet. Compact, efficient, and designed for scalability, this device delivers consistent DC power and control to lights, shades, sensors, and more, all over a single low-voltage cable.
With support for Constant Current, Constant Voltage, and Constant Power outputs from 12V to 48VDC, the Core Node is a foundational component for intelligent building systems that are easier to install, operate, and expand.
Unlocking Intelligence with aida™
Alongside our hardware evolution, we introduced aida™, an AI-driven smart building platform developed in partnership with Building AI Solutions.
aida™ connects with Inspextor hardware to automate lighting, shading, HVAC, and environmental responses. This technology empowers building operators with real-time data, energy optimization tools, and intelligent decision-making across entire facilities.
This combined ecosystem supports strategies for LEED v5, WELL, and decarbonization, delivering performance, comfort, and compliance in one unified platform.
Strategic Partnership with Mecho Shades
In late Q3, we formally announced our strategic partnership with Mecho, a global leader in motorized commercial shading systems.
Together, we’re bringing automated shading + lighting into one streamlined PoE infrastructure. This solution enables daylight harvesting, occupancy-based automation, and centralized system management.
Mecho’s advanced shading systems now integrate directly with MHT’s Inspextor hardware, giving building managers unified control over daylight and lighting through a single, intuitive platform.
The Distilled Buildings Tech Podcast
Since launching in late Q2, the Distilled Buildings Tech podcast—co-hosted by AK and Jason Shearer of Cisco—has been going strong with some incredible guests and thought-provoking conversations.
Each episode explores the intersection of smart building infrastructure, AI, and energy innovation, with real-world insights, expert perspectives, and yes… a perfectly paired cocktail.
If you haven’t had a chance to tune in yet, now’s a great time to catch up!

Looking Ahead
With new hardware, new software, and new strategic partnerships in place, Q3 has been a pivotal chapter in our 2025 journey.
As we head into Q4, we’re focused on deployment, integration, and scale. Our goal is to continue to bring these innovations into more buildings, more industries, and more conversations about the future of infrastructure.
