The ideal candidate should possess a strong network of existing contacts, encompassing electrical distributors, contractors, end-users, and owner representatives. These connections should enable candidate to expedite the sales process effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Harness your network of industry contacts to grow the revenue of the commercial lighting market in your territory.
  • Identify key customers and create strategy within the given territory
  • Look for new business opportunities by calling on end-users and specifiers (consultants, engineers, and architects)
  • Organize and update CRM System
  • Promote our unique value proposition, emphasizing our commitment to advanced technologies.
  • Keep leadership informed with regular reports on forecasts and the sales pipeline.
  • Represent MHT Technologies at industry events, enhancing our brand visibility.
  • Work alongside our marketing team to craft targeted strategies that resonate with our key segments.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of experience in the commercial LED Lighting and Controls Market
  • A strong background and understanding of Lighting and controls specification, OEM and distribution sales.
  • Ideal candidate would have worked directly for a controls company in the last 2 years.
  • Knowledge of the competition and their product offerings
  • A strong network, including relationships with distributors, contractors, end-users, architects, lighting designers, and engineers, enabling you to drive quick wins and long-term growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be results oriented.
  • 50% travel is required within territory
