MHT Technologies Reminisces on its Top Successes in 2023

2023 served to be a landmark year for MHT Technologies. From our technological innovation efforts to an organizational rebranding to our continued internal team growth, we have fast-tracked our successes, holding true to our mission every step of the way. MHT started 2023 with great ambition and carried that mindset into a period of continued growth, innovation, and dedicated work across the board.

  1. MHT Technologies Rebranding

In April, we relaunched our entire brand from the ground up, re-establishing ourselves as MHT Technologies from our roots as MHT Lighting. While we still offer our hardware products and services under the MHT Lighting moniker, we found it crucial to establish ourselves as an all-encompassing brand in the world of PoE lighting and all that entails. From our state-of-the-art Inspextor software to our PoE compatible fixtures, we sought to present ourselves as the industry standard, redefining what it means to implement this advanced technology into the buildings of tomorrow.

The relaunch served to both practically implement the ever-increasing inventory of products and services as well as an organizational statement intended to showcase where we’re headed.

  1. Inspextor Super Node First Launch

This past summer saw the first launch of the Inspextor Super Node. Not only is it an advanced piece of technology that allows for a singular source of control and customization for smart building tech, it also became the recipient of prestigious recognition, winning the Architectural SSL Product Innovation Award.

With our innovative flagship offering, Inspextor, our goal is to create an autonomous smart building platform that allows users to digitize their real estate and create true metrics around their sustainability goals. It also serves to optimize energy usage, while ensuring a highly productive and conformable environment, all with the power of AI.

This advanced hardware offering, coupled with our robust software suite streamlines the ability for smart building owners and operators to ensure control, customization, security, and efficiency for their operation.

  1. MHT promotes Akram “AK” Khalis to CEO and adds key personnel to meet increased demand

In addition to our product and service offerings, we have experienced significant internal growth, promoting Akram “AK” Khalis from CTO to CEO, and adding key team members, including the promotion of Brad Oraw to Director of Technology and bringing on our new National Sales Manager, Steve Glenn, among others. Our company continues to grow at a rapid pace, adding key personnel along the way.

“Embarking on this new journey from CTO to CEO isn’t just a career transition, but a deepened commitment to the innovative spirit that MHT has had over its nearly 15 years of innovation. Drawing from our technological roots and the success of our flagship product, Inspextor, I’m eager to guide our team towards continued innovation and progress. The journey ahead is promising, and I’m committed to ensuring we meet our objectives efficiently and effectively to sustain and accelerate our growth.”

2024 and Beyond:

Under the guidance of our new leadership, MHT seeks to enter into a new era of prosperity and continued growth for the company.  As much as MHT has accomplished this year alone, we strive to succeed to an even greater degree entering the new year.

We can proudly look back on 2023 in recognition of all that we’ve accomplished. From seemingly impossible project deadlines to the implementation of new technologies to a continuously evolving team of capable and dedicated employees, this year has been huge. It’s easy for organizations to become complacent when met with success, but at MHT, it has only served to feed our hunger for bigger and better!

So, a heartfelt thank you to all who have contributed, encouraged, and witnessed our journey – we can’t wait to showcase what’s in store.

Here’s looking to our “4 in ‘24” blog post…
